Brief Bio
Sebastian joined the ECLIPSE Lab as a postdoctoral researcher in April 2025. His work focuses on developing and applying 4D-STEM methods for high-resolution, dose-efficient imaging, with a particular interest in combining physics-informed models and machine learning to push the limits of what electron microscopes can reveal.
Background
Sebastian holds a PhD in Physics from the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter in Hamburg. His research experience spans laser physics, electron microscopy, and scientific software development.
